I would not worry too much about exact height. That is too dependent upon 1) Tires - what size, how much tread, what air pressure? 2) What are the rear and front spring rates and are they new springs or 50 years old? 3)Do you have additional weight in the bed with steel,or do you have just the wood floor? 4) What other rear accessories may be weighting the truck down? 5) Do you have a front winch? 6) What condition is the frame in? 7) Are you using stock bed supports?
If your running boards are parallel with the sill of the cab, and your bed is parallel with the running boards, I would say all is good.
