I saw a freight train today with Fed Ex semi trailers on flat beds. I was wondering if it was cheaper to ship those trailers by train, than to have a truck drive it cross country. And, does anybody know if any of the rail companies have shipping services, from one rail yard to another, kind of like Fed Ex truck freight, where you can go to the Fed Ex truck yard and pick up your item.
