You could just make solid mounts to get in the garage. I was thinking of doing the same thing. Buddy had a water tank that I could cut in half and weld slices in rim. Then cut a bias ply tire about it on in the lows of the tread. Not talking about road time with these. With the set up I have now it gives me 1 1/2 inches and that's with an oversize door. Close but it fits. LOL
