I've seen a figure for weight of the engine plus transmission, and it was about 700 or 750 total (I don't remember which). I think this was dry (i.e., no lubricants or coolant). The problem is, I don't remember if that was including all the accessories or just a bare engine, bellhousing and tranny. The transmission and bellhousing are about 200 lbs or slightly more, so engine alone is probably about 500 lbs.
500 lbs would also be my guesstimate for engine without accessories, based on weight of individual components (I'm rebuilding an engine now, so I've picked up several of the parts individually recently).
