#2 Hooks #1 and #3 up. A deal is struck between them. #2 gets a pre negotiated kickback %of the sale price of the vehicle from #3, the seller. The buyer (#1) gets the truck at a fair price, #3 sells the truck, #2 gets something also. I did this with a truck that was not mine that I advertised for the seller In the PWA. The seller insisted that I should get something for my trouble which I insisted there was no trouble as the ad was free. He still insisted so I told him if he wanted to give me something that was fine he could decide how much if any, but I was just happy to see a 1 owner special order 383 '67 W200 camper special with almost every option go to a good home. He gave me $50 on a $3000 deal, and I delivered the truck 235mi to it's new owner for another $50 gas money (I was picking up a bed from him anyway).
I just feel sorry for all the guys on the east coast, You have to add $1.5k shipping to the price of any truck coming from the west coast, where all the rust free ones seem to be.
