I just took one apart yesterday. Five out of the eight came right out, I guess I got lucky. I heated up the last three and the last one heat alone didn't work. I drilled thru it with a bit that was smaller than the shank of the screw and then heated it up again. It did come out after that and I didn't mess up the threads.
