I paid $5500 for a 1948 B1 that has 19000 miles that was in a barn (one owner) . wasent on the road since 1964. was in a barn its whole life. never heard it run, bald tires dents paint faded glass cracked .nice and oily.with winch the guy told me they droped the pan cleaned out the sludge because it was old oil and it ran fine . to me that was a lot of money since then I have bought a nother in my oppinion to be in nice condition drove it home for $7500. that was a 57 wm300 .the 48 B1 is all apart and im going to do the best that i can on a reso with help from hear and outher people. I would not sell either one of them and have never regreat buying them . If you want it, like it, then buy it I dont think there are a lot of one still sitting in the barn.
