i called just to make sure i had the proper one for my distributer and it was... where it sits in place of the condenser it was hitting the screw that adjust the points... yens at vintage said it should unscrew but it did nothing but keep turning.. so i did grind it off and it fits well.. but i will have to get that piece from another distributer part if i want to go back to points.. does the wires just go out the side where the original wire was attached..
