works great provided that you have a fully sorted distributor. if you have worn bushings, it will wobble at high speed and provide no real benefit. i installed a pertronix on my command car to cure ignition related issues. it did not remedy my problem. i sent distributor out for a full rebuild with points @ midwest military and reinstalled. all of my hesitations, what i thought was vapor lock, loss of power, etc. went away. the dist lube wick is there for a reason. a worn dist with new parts will not provide an improvement.
