That s what I was thinking about the welding
Was thinking too that the ears are far enuff away if welded to without damaging the insides
Look at pic three below and click on the exclamation mark for a close up view of the box
You can clearly see the box mounting holes
No way it s Chevy. The pitman shaft is too long and the box would be in the motor
