If your pulling the cab, a couple items to check. At the link there are two images at the bottom right. The one with an arrow points to a rectangular hole in the cab that should be filled in, mine is filled. If not, the hole allows water and mud to enter the cab behind the kick panels causing rust. Check that area for dirt and clean as you clean the cab. If the two front cab mount floor area are a little weak from rust, you can braze 4x8x1/4 plate under to support the cab. This will prevent the cab from stressing and causing further damage weakening the floor at those areas. I used industrial rubber for cab mounts, it works well to prevent rubber fatigue.
