I ran that combination in a beater m-37 for a few years, cruised about 50. Stock brakes seemed ok to me. So like everyone says, slow on the freeway. Loved the extra power, like taking a rocket up muddy hills compared to stock m37 or other heavy low-power rigs, especially 404 unimog. Good clean fun.
