Well I see that. It’s an “impression” of a plate in the casting.

The more I look at the picture, the A and the 2 are definitive
The next number is more than likely a 5 over it being a 6
As for the final digit, it sure looks like a 1 but it might be a very worn 7

So It’s either A261 or A267

What does that tell you in terms of year cast? Anything helpful in those numbers?

I wish I could simply post the picture I have but I’ve never had much luck trying
