No matter what the pertronix part number is, they all fit one thing perfectly. The trash can. I've bought two vehicles with these in them and it was very difficult to get the engines started. I tossed them out and replaced with the MSD 6A box. They start and run great now. Pertronix seems to be like powder coating. Some people love it and some people have a different opinion.
