Yeah, I used to have clients call me to say "we just bought a house built in 1820 and would like it restored" OK, no problem, first I will rip out all that pesky indoor plumbing, and no need for all these wires and lights, right? Insulation, no problem, the farmer next door should have some straw or corn shucks! Or we can get fancy and use brick infill inside the walls. You get the picture!
