That’s why I’m leary of anything different...even nickle copper brake line...you don’t think they could make that in the 50’s? You see any other corners they used to cut? Back in those days if it was $.50 more per car they didn’t care...especially on the Power Wagons that were already way more than other trucks.
I’ll try it when no normal brake line is available anywhere & I don’t have a choice. Until then, I’ve never had to replace a steel one I’ve installed myself.
