I understand, and its good you realize no major retrofit at this time. When you mention the word Diesel, think $$$$$, lots of special fabrication and lots of time. I put a Cummins 4BTA CPL 857 in a
1960 Power Giant. It came out beautiful but you need to take my above description of $$, Fab and time, and Put in in red capital letters, it took a year. With $$$ pouring out the door. Click on the YOU CAN DO link below, scroll down to 1960 Power Giant to see complete build pictures.
