AH-HA!! I get it!! Very much appreciate you guys sticking with me and remaining patient until I understood. In defense of my density, my truck has never had the parts you're referring to, and living in the sticks with none like mine to look at or experts to consult within a 100 mile radius, trial-and-error is my only mentor. An exploded view WITH a parts list would have been helpful but Jerry's link didn't show on this end. The VPW catalog has an exploded view, but NO parts list. So, my rear winch is behind the cab recessed into the bed floor with no working room for the shifter fork handle (a loose one was included in the sale). I use a pry bar to engage/disengage the sliding clutch. In front, the shifter fork handle with knob is intact/working but missing all the drag brake parts. I only knew what I had, and thought it was all there ever was . . . until now. Great site, fantastic forum participants. Thanks again!
