1957 W100 Power Wagon Town Wagon

I recently acquired this truck, and am reluctantly offering it for sale.

This beauty was bought new in Northern Colorado, and has been a Colorado vehicle it's entire life. I am the 3rd owner of this TW; the previous owners had owned it since 1971. It was their pride and joy, and took their family on adventures all over the United States. Mileage sits at 111,223; based on the detailed stacks of maintenance receipts with the truck, I believe that to be accurate. I have done very little to the truck since it has been in my possession.

This is an original V8 truck. Original orange and white color scheme; it has been painted twice in its life and is now in a 70's darker orange, with custom-painted stripes. The 315 engine was replaced with a 360 in 1980 by the same 4x4 shop that also custom-fabricated a 45 gallon fuel tank, enabling the longer trips that this truck took throughout the 80's. The owners fitted a backseat heater, and extensive carpeting for comfort as well.

The truck is 100% unrestored, as-found, and as-used. Vehicle is 99% rust free. There is bubbling in the wheel lips over the rear tires, and cracking filler in this area from previous repair... otherwise there is ZERO rot in this truck.

Functionally speaking, pretty much everything works. It sat undriven for the last 5 years or so; the radiator was recored, fuel tank flushed, fuel pump replaced, and the carb rebuilt. The truck starts, runs, drives, and stops amazingly well for what it is. Horn, gauges, radio all work. With all this said, it is a 62-year old unrestored truck, and it does have its leaks, quirks and shortcomings. But overall, it is an extremely nice original vehicle in tunning un-molested condition.

I have over 300 pictures of the truck to share; they tell the story better than any description. Ask and I'll forward you a link.

There were very few of these amazing trucks made, and even fewer remain.

$52,000

I'm in Wheat Ridge, CO. Email me at [email protected] and we'll take it from there... Thank you.
