Thanks to Eric I got my build cards for my military trucks and was surprised to see it was made on Christmas eve, 1941. He told me that my serial number was one of the highest he had on record for a 1/2 ton so VERY few 1/2 tons were made in 1942. WC40's were the 215 series and the last of the run.
