The cab is '54 FFPW cab. The radiator cowl is a '51 FFPW. The hood came from VPW and seems to be correct. The spacing between the cab and cowl seem to be correct for the hood.
The issue seems to be that the hood latches will not quite catch the striker plates at all four locations. They are very close but just miss catching. I was thinking that the new lacing was puffed out and not setting down because it is new.
I was thinking about bending the striker plates out a tad so the sliding latches will reach under and catch on the bottom of the striker plates.
