If your trying to match existing parts, the original will be somewhat faded and will not match new.
However, PPG paint dealers have a color computer called the Prophet. They can scan your paint sample and the computer will determine the exact new paint formula to match. I have had it done and its as near perfect as you can hope for.
I am sure other main line paint brands also have such color computers
