Yes, it sounds like it. It's possible that at some point someone swapped the original case out for a later 1.96:1 version, but who knows. Either way it's still an NP200. At some point they cast 1.96:1 into the back of the case, but I don't know when they started doing that. The only way to know what you have is to put it in low range and count revolutions.
