The V41 Telephone Maintenance Truck is a member of the M-37 Dodge 3/4 ton 4x4 Truck Family (G-741) and most specifications are the same as the M-37 cargo truck. However, the V41 wheelbase is 126 inches, same as the M43 ambulance. https://olive-drab.com/idphoto/id_photos_m37_v41.php
The truck was built in July of 1962. The engine is a T-245. Mileage 68,434. Serial # 90244. Model # on bed V-41.
Has all original running gear with some changes to engine, as in carb, air filter etc. It runs well, drives and stops. Truck has minor rust on cab, and certain areas of box. None on frame that I have seen.
I do have winch, but it is disassembled and needs parts, no cable or hook. I have spotlight and mount. I have partial parts of spare tire mount. I replaced radiator and hoses. Also fuel pump, oil pump, brake master cylinder, and all wheel cylinder parts were purchased from Vintage Power Wagons. It is still 24 volt.
I do drive the truck at times, but not on highways.
