The only way possible to find those NOS is to purchase the complete NOS Half ton Propshafts with the U Joints installed.
As far as machining the joints in a different way we have tried for 10 years and to get the aftermarket ones machined in a neat and clean way would make that one u Joint cost more than the shaft itself.
I apologize for the problems you had with your joints. I try to verify the fit of every joint but that is just not possible.
