Look closely between the screw and the regulator cover. Each tab should be stamped with markings. Sometimes dirt, grime or the gasket for the cover hides the markings.
Another thing to check is the voltage and polarity of the regulatpr. Those markings are usually on the side of the regulator near the rubber vibration isolators. If you convert from 6 to 12 volts, you need to have a 12 volt regulator.
