I may have found another of these rare trucks. This photo was taken by a hiker outside Silverado, CA in 2015. You can still see the truck on google satellite images at 33.750514, -117.633872. The truck is no longer there, but these are the last leads we have for anyone energetic enough to hunt it down.

I saw this photo online and recognized the aluminum valve cover and exhaust manifold as a WKD diesel. Jim Allen writes a good history of these engiens at the link below. Last I heard, there were approximatley 3 trucks known still existing with this engine. One very rough and one that resided in the Golden Age of Trucking Museum in Middlebury, CT. That musuem closed in 2010. Some trucks remain with Gary Mahan or Chris Berry. I'm not sure where the diesel is now.
