If she fuel starves quickly after you shut off the electric pump, do this. Loosen the gas fill cap or remove it and try running in this mode. If this solves your problem, then you have a plugged
air vent in the fuel fill cap. The plugged air vent allows the creation of a vacuum in the tank.
