What gets me is the "No responsibility for my actions" mentality of people anymore. I admittedly do not know all the details of this but I'm assuming speed and lack of experience driving a high horsepower vehicle had something to do with it? Seems people want manufacturers/builders to make something safe and idiot proof enough that they can not get hurt. Problem is, idiots will find a way to cause injury to themselves and others. There used to be some shame in doing stupid things but now it is paraded as they are the victims because we should have know they were going to misuse a product or would not be able to safely use it. I understand if something was built with shoddy workmanship or parts but we've seemed to go to far the other way to protect bad decisions people make.
