in 1969 or so had a problem with the Rochester 4bbl on our 64 corvette so went to the chev dealer down the street and asked my friend Bob who was the parts manager and asked him for a rebuild kit. He gave it to me and when I asked for the invoice he said "I will just put it on the bill for the new carb I am ordering for you" he was correct they had major problems back then.
he was correct had to buy the new carb.
