Forgot to mention that the truck trailer has 2250 lbs on each tire well below the 3700 rating. The tire dealers suspect that the tread is slightly separating after driveling multiple hours at a time. They suspect heat build up even though it should not be a problem as loaded and inflated. Once happens the tires tread quickly goes south. I suspect that the outside temperature of 95 to 105 found when traveling in California and Nevada is a major factor. But I have not seen that with the Goodyear tires on the 5th wheel.
