I might just take you up on it.

I also have here a 24 volt Prestolite starter that needs rebuilt. There is a short in the winding someplace and trying to find a replacement is almost impossible since none of the old Presolite part numbers were crossed over when they got bought out.

Your shop is in Pennsylvania right?
