I am running 4.88 in my carryall - never weighed it but I suspect 7400 lbs+. Going across an intersection I run through three gears. On the highway I can do 60 miles an hour all day long with overdrive, much higher speed and harmonics seem to be an issue and the truck vibrates.
The truck sees some serious off road stuff, the transfer case has a low of 6 - 1 and it gets used at times, not often but anything higher would be touch and go.
On the highway I would like that 4:30 ratio.
Not much help - but perhaps you get an idea what you are dealing with.
200hp - how do you get that?
