When my wife and I got together 14 years ago, she fell in love with the '84 Dodge D100 short bed truck I had. The radical idle of the 360 in it tickled her pink, and I guess the adrenaline rush of me driving like an idiot must have sealed the deal. I also had a 440-powered '72 Dodge Dart that scared her to death, but she never shied away from taking a spin in it. She has always been my sidekick on every project, no matter what I have dragged home. It was her idea to re-power the '53 Power Wagon because she disliked it taking forever to climb the hill to our place. She helped build the 360, rebuild the NP435, assemble the PTO, and every step of the way, she has hopped right in with both feet. She troubleshoots better than I can and loves the challenge of making Part A work with the impossible Part B. Without her, I wouldn't be able to tie my own shoes, let alone port a pair of cylinder heads. I got lucky, to say the least... she's the best. :)
