At least finding problems is usually a process of elimination of physical issues, such as fuel tank, fuel line, fuel pump. I have friend with an early Dodge 24 valve with auto. He has been having some really weird problems and it all seems to point to electronics. The newer the truck, the worse it is. I hope my '06 which just turn 170,000 will stay with me as long as I (just turned 77) need it. :)
