Can't tell if that is a factory pump or not. The early power steering setups for Power Wagons used a pump that was driven off the same water pump pulley that was used to drive the mechanical governor. But I think I remember them mounting to the passenger side of the head where the governor would normally mount. Later units used the pump integral to the generator and the battery got moved to allow room.

Power Wagons were not available with power steering in 1947 - unless that was a SEG build or order or someone along the way swapped in power steering from a later truck. It could also be advertised incorrectly and is actually a later truck with earlier body.
