Not sure exactly when they switched. But I'm glad they did. I heard the get-a-rag had issues. So in '93 the 3/4T had the NV. I'm sure the tonners used them, too. The NV241 usess a vacuum line to slide a collar for 4wd. I swapped in a D60 in mine to eliminate that headache. Now I only get carbeurator headaches..
The perfect combination in my mind is a fuel injected 360/NV4500/NP205.
