Yea, if so, then no boring, honing or anything which makes it worse than what it was before they started. If so, the block remained in the truck as there are no signs of it being removed. You would at least expect some greasy hand prints on the head indicating someone had been in there. How can anyone do a ring and piston job without addressing the cylinders? Additionally, the crank would have to be removed and there is no indication that the timing chain cover or water pump were removed so that they could drop the crank out.

I could see pulling the oil pan and head to get access and possibly honing the cylinders and fitting the rings. The crank could remain in place as long as it was protected and well cleaned before assembly. But then you should see some indication in the picture that the head was pulled.
