My 54 would run fine and then stumble on take off from stop sign..had to pump throttle to keep it running..Stopped to get gas and then wouldnt start,,saw gas boiling in glass bowl and thru cold water on fuel pump and she started up...My heat riser pointer said summer but was really stuck in the winter position...Jim
