Initially I found debris in the fuel pump bowl, none in the carter,glass bowl with ceramic filter that is directly in front of the carb input. I did find the metal tube to rubber tube just before the fuel pump not tightened but had not noticed any leaks there. One comment mentioned small leaks could cause problems. I added an inline see thru filter at the output of the tank and blew out the line from the fuel pump to the tank with a white rag on the end and did not see and particles come out. I ran the engine for 1 hour increasing the RPMs at intervals from 700 to 2400 (10min)and back down. The engine ran fine without stalling or running out of gas. By the way It took about 4 10 second cranks to fill the gas to the carb. At the end there were no visible particles in any bowl of filter.
