With the various suggestions I may never find out the actual reason. Trying each thing one at a time, driving it 20 miles to test (and possible getting stuck if that wasn't it) will take forever. Will probable do a couple things then let it run for 1/2 hour at home and see what happens. I hate not finding the exact cause but will settle for it being fixed.
