I know this sounds crazy, but try a new condenser. I pulled my hair out over the same symptoms and it turned out to be the condenser. If that does not fix it, well, one should carry a spare condenser anyway.

Might also try giving the inside of the distributor cap a quick squirt of WD40. You may have some carbon tracers that are almost invisible to the eye. For what ever reason these can be aggravated by high humidity.
