If you mean PTO and not PRO gears are straight cut. Internally both PTOs for straight cut and helical cut gear transmissions have straight cut gears. However, the PTO input gear (idler gear) on the helical gear transmissions has a helical cut gear that meshes with the transmission gear. You can see this gear sticking out of the PTO when it is not mounted to the transmission. The straight cut Transmission PTO will have a straight cut gear sticking out.
