I built a bracket that mounts to the fire wall. The bracket consists of a square plate with a hole drilled through it that is bigger than the steering column tube. Welded to this is 1/2 of a clamp sort of like this shape-u- and has two nuts welded to the flat parts. The other 1/2 of the clamp has the same shape only with holes on it that line up with the two welded nuts =0= the column goes through the 0 whole. You can mount it on the outside of the fire wall or the inside of the cab by flipping it around.
Mine started on the outside but due to a separate issue it is now inside the cab.
