You should match the tires to your conditions.
Are you going to be driving in mud? Snow? Ice? Blacktop?
I have STA 900 16 superlugs. I like them on blacktop and in dry snow. On ice they aren't very good. In mud or wet snow they tend to fill up and aren't very good.
Of course, no tire is perfect for all conditions. That's one reason they put winches on these trucks. And there are also chains.
A lot of guys like the Michelin 900 or 1100 16 radials. I think I would do, but I couldn't justify the cost difference at the time.
If you will be driving in the winter on any tire, you might consider having the tires siped.
