Jule likes Harrison Hot springs. Yesterday she was lamenting that she'd like to go there. Seeing there was nothing important (or interesting) going on I said "Sure, let do it." And she immediately booked a room. After thinking about it, I asked if it would be OK if we took The carryall (Franklin) and her take on it was "As long as the weather report said it would be nice for the trip, sure!"
Spent today fabricating and installing the driver's seat brace I been meaning to install since last summer. (Cab floor is pretty rotten. This transfers the load onto the Middle frame mounts so I don't fall through the floor.) Then installed a handle I had a friend fab up for me for Julie to hang onto while cruising along. At some point in time, someone mounted something on the roof of the machine and I used their old mounting holes for the handle.
Checked oil & water.. Good to go for tomorrow!
Wish us luck! How we won't end up needing the "Tow of Shame" home.
