Thanks for the input, I have looked around having someone else do it is not for me I like the work plus I don't have 100 grand for someone else to do the work. One of my biggest concerns are the Wheels (Spit ring) Safe ? Not safe? Not too many people up here in Alaska w modernized ones unless the Just take the body off and stick it on some other frame like an expedition...Etc.. I want to keep as much of the truck original as possible but it all seems difficult to work with compared to my other builds. Lets start with the Split ring wheels, then the Budd hubs, and for some reason guys in Alaska want 4,500-to 5,500 to rebuild the engine...
