Could you swap the thermostat housing on the intake from the Mopar style to the Chevy style that points to the left. I am pretty sure they have the same bolt pattern. Might be easier to find a hose that way.
Also, for my 360 swap I had to use a flexible metal hose for the lower, because the rubber one kept collapsing.
