Check the filter for stamped numbers on the screw on face. Also try taking laquer thinner and wipe off the paint on the filter. The original paint will probably stay there and the later one should wipe off. Your should find painted numbers. You can use 400 or 600 grit sand paper to slowly remove the outer paint to expose the original numbers.
