truck in central CA junkyard

For anyone who is interested, there is a late 40s early 50s 5 window pickup in the Pick-N-Pull yard in Stockton CA. It has the butterfly hood with about a 6" strip seperating the two halves. Is this truck what is refered to as a pilot house? The trim is picked clean, but the cab and front sheetmetal are very straight and modification/rust free. I'd hate to see this truck get thrown away.
